Brahmāṇḍaḥ and Universe
For me the biggest find of 2011, the Sanskrit word for universe: ब्रह्माण्डः(brahmāṇḍaḥ) comes from the root ब्रिह्(brih) which means ‘to expand’. The modern science discovered this expanding attribute of the universe only in 1930s and the word meaning “one…something rotated, rolled, changed”- ‘universe’ is the English word.

Sanskrit for “He goes/walks” is “सः चलति ।(saḥ calati ।)”, “सः हिण्डते ।(saḥ hiṇḍate ।)” among other literally infinite possibilities but these are the commonly used and accepted ones for this usage.
